Wildlife Safari in Manas National Park

Manas national park is one of the most serene national parks of India situated on the foothills of Bhutan. It’s terai grassland with woodland gives shelter to some of the most elusive animals and birds. Clouded leopard you can say one of its blessing though you need a fortune to see this species. Bengal Florican, Black Breasted Parrotbill, Slender Billed Babbler, Indian Grass Bird, Bristled Grass Bird, Collared Falconet, Broadbills, Red Headed Trogon etc. will give you a stellar performance in birding. Number of Elephants, Rhinos, Indian Guar , Swamp Deer, Royal Bengal Tiger also growing in the park. Including all these Manas holds about 60 different types of animals and around 500 species of birds which can shatter the shutter of your camera.

Central Zone (Bansbari area)

Bansbari area where you will be taken deep in to the jungle frontier of India. On the way you will be taken through some grassland and woodland area here you have chances to see Rhinos, Elephants, Tiger, Leopard, Indian Gaur, Swamp Deer, Sambar etc. By the end of the trip you will reach a place which is called Mathanguri. You will get beautiful sight of a clean river with a pretty breeze around, which separates India from Bhutan. One side of the river is India and the other side will be Bhutan. If you are lucky you can have a sight of Crab Eating Mongoose on the way and Collared Falconet also can appear to add the charm of this place.

East Zone (Bhunyapara zone)

Bhunyapara zone which is specialized for birders only. It’s a paradise for the grassland birds. One who is looking for Bengal Florican, Indian Grassbird, Bristled Grassbird, Slender Billed Babbler, Black Breasted Parrotbill, Finn’s Weaver, Black Breasted Weaver must visit this place.
