Manas National Park is one of the best places for Birdwatching in Assam. Comprising of huge grassland and vast forest areas allows you to see some of the best and rare birds of Assam. 2 types of Broadbills, 3 Types of Hornbills, 9 types of owl, Bengal Florican, Slender Billed Babbler, Indian Grassbird, Bristled Grassbird, Jerdon’s Babbler, Finn’s Weaver, Collared Falconet, Jerdon’s Baza, Black Baza, Pied Harier, Marsh Harrier, Crested Tree swift, 8 types of Woodpeckers, Blue Naped pitta, hooded Pitta, Many different species of Kingfishers, Babblers and Warblers are among the highlights.
